Week 2: Bedroom Rules

Inspired by the post ‘finding the sex goddess‘, ’why sex goddesses have bathroom mats‘ and ‘what do you love most‘, I’m making bed room rules:

Rule 1. The bedroom is for Sleeping and Sex.

The bedroom is for relaxation, thus it is a TV/computer-free zone. All items visible from the bed are related to sleeping or sex. Exception: the baby phone. Candles, music, (warm) color lighting, a sexy nightgown, erotic literature and what not are most welcome in the bed room.

Rule 2: Exclusive bedroom access for the Loving Couple.

House guests are not to enter the bedroom. Baby and family photos are not welcome either. No other person than the Loving Couple can sleep in the room. Exception: a sick baby.

Rule 3: In the bedroom, it is about Staying Connected.

There shall be no fighting. Talk about work, decisions-to-be-made and non-significant people in our lives are prohibited.

Then I’ve just picked up a few Feng Shui bedroom tips from the web:

- A red object on the female’s side of the bed increases eroticism.

- A copper object on the male’s side of the bed will awaken his erotic spirit.

- All decorations should be in two’s (ie two candles, two flowers), reminding us from unity.

- No water in the bedroom as it extinguishes the Fire Energy (Passion).

- No plants, no pointy items.

… well and a whole lot more tips, but I agree with the above.

Day 10: What do you love most?

Despite the renaissance of the mommy, I did manage to dig up our original attraction:

What do you love most* about your husband? and what does he love most about you?

The talk revamped our feelings for each other. With my complaining nature, it’s easy for me to get stuck about all those things that annoy me. Or worse, stay angry about it. And it’s not good to go to bed angry (better stay up and fight).

Week 1: Mommy first, Sex Goddess second

After a good start of the first week as a Sex Goddess, the second half of the week was reserved for mommy. Short summary: baby sick, baby in bed room, many past midnight ‘mommy calls’ ending with ‘mommy and baby sick’.

To conclude: as a mother, I do have to accept that it’s Mommy first, Sex Goddess second, EVEN in the bed room and after midnight. I don’t think you can do anything about it, and worse: you should not even wish for it.

To all the mommies: hang in there!

Day 4: Why Sex Goddesses need bathroom mats

I have just spend 30 minutes talking to a friend outside our house. We had been to a concert together and did not plan to catch up on life out on the pavement. As lovely as the talk was, as cold my feet have got.

When I finally went into the house, I went straight upstairs and changed into a sexy silk black neglige (this one with pink ribbons). I brushed my teeth, but forgot to stand on the bathroom mat. When John saw me in my lacey skimpy night dress, he got all happy and excited.

Yet, no luck for him. My feet are freezing! There’s no way, I can feel sexy and hot with ice cubes as toes! So I told him to wait, till my feet have warmed up. I wanted to put on socks, to get my feet warm, while writing this blog post. But opted to just put them under the duvet.

John crawled into bed next to me. As I write this, he’s holding one foot with his hand. Now with only my right foot warm, John has fallen asleep.

Lesson learned: sex goddesses never have cold feet. They have bathroom mats.

Day 3: Pampering the Sex Goddess

TODAY…. the whole day I have been feeling BAD. Stomach aches, back aches even my calves aches. This has nothing to do with the nightly adventures, but everything with my period. As a consequence, I am so NOT in the mood. I have already put on my unsexy sweat suit and I’m planning to indulge in chocolate and an episode of Desperate Housewives. May be my mood will change in an hour.

[...3 hours later ...]

Johny boy has already gone to bed. Nevertheless, I will put on that ‘woven silk’ night gown which I bought on Day 1. Just because my man is sound asleep, does not mean I cannot be a Sex Goddess! Feeling sexy is a state of mind and I am committed to my unleashing-the-goddess-project.

Day 2: Clean sex and Periods

After the Sex Goddess’ booty call, the Mommy-me reappeared 2 minutes later, when finding out that I got my period! Oh, just shoot me! I know people do it, but having intercourse during menstruation, but I prefer clean, blood-free sex. So, I’ve done a Google search…

Clean, blood-free sex ideas while having period

1. Giving him head.

2. Back door sex.

3. Play sensual/sexual games.

4. Use a diaphram.

5. Have sex in the shower.

6. The Figure Eight Sex Position (Kama Sutra).

I shall get back to the games and the Figure Eight Sex Position at a later stage.

Day 1: Sex Goddess’ electronic booty call

As romantic as we ~~are~~ were, I sent my husband an e-mail ‘honey, i’m upstairs wearing that black neglige. can you help undressing me in our bedroom? ‘

May be you now think: how lame, sending your husband an electronic sex invitation! Well, in our case: the message was successfully delivered and read within minutes (as expected) and the invite was accepted. The TV was turned off almost immediately and my John came upstairs.

In the mean time, in the bathroom: a normally tedious activity, shaving, became a joy… the anticipation of sexual seduction was exhilarating. Also, being well prepped, so to say, and wearing sexy lingerie makes you feel more attractive, wanted and hot. With St. Germain lounge music in the background, you get more excited with each beat…. and just like that, the Sex Goddess was unleashed. (read about the Sex Goddess body & bedroom preparations)

Sex goddess, where art thou? Well, she’s probably hiding from my cotton pj’s or under that heap of laundry-to-be-fold in the bedroom. So, my plan for to unleash the Sex Goddess within:

1. Shave leggs and entrance to sex temple.

2. Take a bath. Cream body.

3. Remove all items not related to sleeping & sex from the bedroom.

4. Light candles.

5. Put on music.

Will the Sex Goddess come out tonight?
